Let's hear it for Ali Ikram

TV3 Reporter Ali Ikram’s musical take on the Tuhoe raids tells us a few things.
Akram sang (in the loosest possible sense) a parody of the Tuhoe raids to the tune of “Let’s hear it for the boy”

Well we know now that;
A) in the job interview at TV3 he was not asked to sing.
B) This is another example of ‘dumbing down the media’
C) This attempt at karaoke belittles serious news and events
D) All of the above.

Akram’s singing really is truly, truly appalling. It is hoped that he has never sung in public before and will never do so again.

Simon Cowell of American Idol fame has apparently heard the clip on YouTube and for the first time he can remember was absolutely speechless.
